I haven't seen this thread in ages! I am glad to see you got those signs we talked about working. I may need to buy one of those. In the meantime I have another idea I need to PM you about.

You need to make that "deadly object sign" into a t-shirt:)

Put a gloss coat over the flat black that the picture shows because it looked a bit too different compared to the head on the Nebo unit.
If you look at the pics farther up, you will see an energizer 1W on the left. The Nebo is just an energizer with a Nebo head on top.
Don't source any of the internals of the units in my pics.... I make them with copper tubing and thin copper:) Can take a lot of work as I try to do these as cheaply as possible with just hand tools plus a drill and dremel. Usually have something in the works:)

The green on the pen looks darker/deeper than the pic shows. It's Dupli-Color Metal Specks (MS500). Really nice deep metal green color that unfortunately didn't come out well in the pic. Think there's another unit with that color in a pic further back that is closer to actual. Post #234 on previous page is better.

Good for you Scum! means we're having fun:)
By the way, your name drives me crazy. Feel bad everytime I type it. Feels like I'm insulting you and that's completely against my nature....

Expecting a lot of stuff by the end of the week. Love figuring out ways to put 532nm modules in differrent extremely cheap hosts. Hardly ever go over $10. Keeps things interesting (although I do have a 3.5W 450nm and an HL515 on the way from DJNY).

Have another one but the paint is drying. Will post it later.

Thanks for the Lables Nick! Didn't notice the paypal again until yesterday but got it paid for the order.

Actually out of project stuff again until more things arrive. Maybe tomorrow. Nice to always have something ready to mess with when you get that "antsy" feeling to build stuff;) Get lost of little stuff for little $ and you'll always have fun. Looking forward to seeing some pics SBA!

Here's the other one

By the way, If I hadn't mentioned it before, the stickers are the actual peak mw. I label peak and not average on purpose as it is a warning for how much potential power there is;)

Might as well add another one

K, someone else needs to post some pics!

Cmon guys, feeling like a dork chucking up all these pics. It's not the Pman show here;)

What Pete did on his summer vacation (well actually yesterday):)
One more of the MXDL was done but isn't shown.

ryux.jpg

The long MXDL are easy to make and so are the Black and Deckers by the way. The longer MXDL are from Fasttech and cost a few bucks while the B&D are $10 from Walmart. All modules are either the 3V or 5V Fasttechs except for a tiny build which would be from the single AAA pens. The bigger center one is a $15 host kit (Fasttech) and it runs off a single 18350 (or you could use a 16340 of course). The nice little heavy aluminum one is a Fasttech flashlight and I think cost about $8. As always, the number label is highest peak seen as I label for danger level. Builds ranged in $ from about 9 to 22.
I'm thinking I need to start a Fasttech build thread and throw all my Fasttech builds under one roof and others can toss in whatever they have so we can all see what is possible from them for little $.

Nick, send me another invoice/paypal for the same labels again EXCEPT whatever I was getting in 650 and 405 substitute with more of the 532nm :)

New one today. It's the same unit but rearanged the lables. The first pic is the correct finished one.

Someone asked me if those are GITD O-rings. They are not. They are HNBR O-ring assortment (nitrile) that come in a 205 piece set from Harbor Freight. Would like to find some in yellow.

Its here(again)! Shipping only took 10 days. Your laser goggles block a lot of blue light and probably works as good as an EaglePair! And for that price! Btw, I really like the feeling of the cctv sticker . Can you do a mouse pad with that type of material? Like stick it to a thin piece of rubber. Kind of a stupid question but... Let me know if it can be done :)

Great, I'm glad that they work well and that the CCTV sticker was to your liking.

I could do a mousepad if you wanted. I could also use the same vinyl material for the front if you wanted but it would be less durable as the vinyl would not bond well to that substrate. So I would recommend a more standard, cloth top layer.
