HIGH POWERD portable burning red laser...?

well, i am not so good with schematics, and the parts do not cost much money, but i am very sceptecal on rather or not i am buying the right parts, and a reputable place to buy them from, but what i want is a high powerd portable red laser, powerful enough to burn through, say...skin? now i know this is possible, but i do not know about how much something like this would cost, and could someone, or would somone beable to build me a dependable laser that could possibly perform in such a way?

That is just begging for no help at all.... :-X I am sure that no member here wants to be affiliated with somebody trying to get a laser that will SPECIFFICALLY burn through skin.... Now tell me, destructables, what do you really want this laser for? If it is just for a cool DIY and you have no intention at all of harming another individual or yourself, then why specify skin? If you are trying to create a dangerous weapon then why expose yourself on a forum and risk being caught? This is making my head hurt.... But as a warning to all members; If you help someone obtain a dangerous/deadly weapon I believe you may be liable, even providing information on how to obtain parts in full knowing of the other's intentions could be a bit incrimidatingf. I am not sure on this but I believe it to be so. :-/

I urge none of you to provide this user any help in his search for a high powered laser, he is clearly trying to use it to harm other's and many of his posts refer directly to burning through skin. Seriosly guys, i think you are over reacting. If he would hurt someone, why buy a *laser*?
If you want to hurt someone cutting their skin, knives have a WAY higher cutting/price ratio than lasers.

He asked how far it would be able to inflict pain so obivously he wants to do it at a distance which is even worse, its only a matter of time unti your the person walking by getting burned by this moron... Seriously find something creative to do instead of inflicting pain on people..
