Thanks, you'll probably get some crazy offers, it would help alot if you set a price. Also some here may be weary of you due to you being new here, so pics would help you alot.

That being said, welcome to the forum, search before asking about something, respect your fellow forum members, and always observe the proper safety precautions when using any laser.

Enjoy your time here with us. :)

Thanks for the welcome.
My main problem is I don't know what this is really worth.

If the laser has a model number you can look it up on CVIMG's site and find out the price new, right?

Nice pics, and I know nothing of gas lasers but I looked on CVIMG's site and new one with similar specifications in more than a thousand dollars. Of course, being built way back in 1996, I'm sure it's worth significantly less.

Do you mean $350.00 or $3.50

I'm sure he meant $3.50. He-Ne lasers go down significantly in price once they're used. Used, the gas begins to lose its muscle and the power degrades. Most people here would probably only buy this for a collection rather than any practical use. The shipping usually makes these lasers not such a great deal for a seller. I personally received a batch of small bare 2mW ones cheap, but those were just for looks.

Since this is a 15mW model, I'm sure it's a little large. How long is the tube?

And as for price, I would say $30-$80 shipped depending on how much output power it had would be a more realistic price on what it's worth.

You also might be better off selling the power supply and the tube separately since I'd suspect the power supply might be more more useful to some people.

Judging by the laser's length and the operating voltage, I would estimate it to be around 10mW as you said (if the laser is operating as it should). The price, well, I've sniped a similar system on eBay for about $50. HeNe lasers have really plummeted in price over the years.
