ok.....i'm not going to go into it but $40 down and not expecting to get anything.......i'm getting impatient trying to get a diode.

i'm looking for someone on LPF who is trusted and respected who is willing to sell me a sony 16x dvd burner diode for my rckstr 250ma fixed output driver.

I need one that is already in a module (as in hook it to a power source and it's ready to go)

i also want it overnighted WITH TRACKING.

so anyone interested give me a price........

If YOU have the driver, I cannot get it ready to just hook up to a power source. That would take me having your driver.

Excuse me but he is invoking the Creator to build his laser.  Hey, it might happen.....  The blind hear, the deaf walk, the crippled speak, etc.  A thousand little miracales happen every day :)
A 16x is older technology but still good. The curves are published here. A 20 to 22 x is what most of us are on.

I just wanted the diode already collimated......so i can just hook it up to my driver, and i'll have a laser.

dont know if youve looked yet but theres a seller by the name of themonk here on lpf that has long open cans for sale and im sure if he has any modules he may press it into 1 for you. may cost a few bucks for the module but thats anywhere. the driver you have will work with it and all you have to do is solder it on to the diode leads.

Oh man, I saw the "ellipsis-ified" subject-line to this thread and it looked like it read "God just give me a son!"

Yeah, go through Stonetek. Free shipping, good price, and fast delivery... oh, and the diode is a really good model only surpassed by open cans or expensive specialty ones which only give a little more power.
