Hey guys and girls, today is a sad day.. As Im going to sell off most of my laser collection. A note about me and my collection. I take care of things extremely well. Especially my lasers.. All are stored in a locked case with humidity kept in check. I use the same thing a guitarist would use to keep humidity from affecting his guitar.

*Newer units have proved not to be as reliable, and have been shipping as pulsed units. I feel lucky to have such a stable and solid unit which also lazes in continuous wave.

CNI GLP-473 (New Condition)
Rated 5mW - Bought from Glenns GB, not sure if Glenn measures his units in peak or average but I was told 16mW. I have not measured this myself but I will say its very bright and I would guess thats an average rating.

As with all of CNI's 473 GLP's this unit is pulsed.

Can you confirm the output on the Optotronics PP150?

How much run time is on the laser, looks like it's quite old.

Always wanted to pick one up, but price stopped me considering it's in a new wish host

Cannot confirm other than what jack sent when I received it. I dont use any of them all that much.. Mainly when I take beam shot pic's and its too powerful for casual use indoors. Honestly Id say the total run time is around 20-30 minutes or less.

I have 532nm CNI Glp's for comparison and nothing beats the opto. Im so confident that whoever buys this will be happy I'd offer money back. Though Id be worried someone would just swap it with a new wish and send it back to me.

Nah not yet, this thread is less than an hour old. Its in like new shape without much use, and your saving 40$ off the price it currently sells for on optos website. Im even shipping it for free.

Your saying they cost more than $20 and Im offering them for $10, but I should lower the price? I made a thread about these magma to help the forum. the two combined only cost about 6$ total. However if you buy them from me you'll have it in 2-3 days.. no waiting weeks and weeks from a chinese seller.

And just so you know magma, shipping cost will be about $3.00 in the us + .99 cents for a padded envelope from walgreens. So id almost be better off throwing them away then dropping the price any further. Btw all of the tripods and clips im selling are new.

If anyone is on the fence on these, I can vouch for G-Fourty. I bought a GLP-594 from him and it was (and still is) in perfect condition.

I'd love to get that 589 and 473 but my wife will kill me if I even hint at that this month.

This is true.. I was shocked that the opto was the first to go. It may still be available in the next day or so, I have not received a payment yet.

I agree, 30mW would be such a sick laser. Though you would be surprised at how bright my 589 is.. I think its the perfect power to not have to be concerned about safety indoors.

I know I have been away now for a little bit, life has been crazy and busy most of the time. I still absolutely love the hobby and will still be a part of LPF. I figured you would go nuts when you seen all the GLP's for sale lol.

Apparently i would..however, it looks like my next place is most likely North Carolina for pharmacy school. SO, i cant really bring much with me ONTO A PLANE across the country...my sales thread should be up in a few days soon too Im probably gonna have my brother keep one laser for me though..lol. Just one, so i dont miss it

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, that's for sure. Assuming the laser is still 155mW and with great divergence/beam... $140 is a good deal. Someone got lucky.

Those CNI GLP 473s are really amazing machines if mine is any measure. My 30mW unit was overspec to 70mW peak, and 60mW stable / average.
