That polished version is an absolutely epic thing of beauty.

Will you be selling that version, or was that a one-of-a-kind work of art?

THank You.:D I do plain on doing some Highly Polished like that. But not for the price listed.

The Amount of time that goes into de anodizing and polishing is alot. However i enjoy very very much.

If you want that option its going to be ~$20 more then the asking price.

Maybe i will do some 445nm to.:eg:

hmm, if you can push ~1W in that host duty cycle would be very limited, ~seconds with about 1 minute cool down.

Is the drivel you're using capable of pulsing? Might work to extend duty cycle... run .8mA;)

Buzzed typing so feel free to correct insanity.

Edit, honestly with an aixiz, there is really no difference between the beam of a 1.1W or a ~800mW. I mean side by side sure, but it's hardly worth noting. If you can get a duty cycle of 1min with a 1min cooldown it would be amazing.

Double edit... I just don't think it can be done, I mean it's a tiny host, but hopefully i'm wrong:p

haha. Yea I never said it was going to be 1W.:D Maybe ~300mW-500mW Tops. But most likely i wont Put a 445nm in one of these guys. Its was Just a thought. Plus it would bring the price up quit a bit. Maybe in my own build i will.:eg:

IIRC Flamypyro put together a tiny 445 of about the same size. Problem is the duty cycle was 30 seconds.

While I very rarely run any laser over 90 seconds, 1 minute~ is not at all unusual so that's more or less my personal baseline for usability.

The host looks beautiful, but too good for me to actually use:undecided: I'm afraid if I ask and pay for one I'll always be scared to scratch that perfect polish.

Well, whatever you put together... keep me in the queue:D

Dude, please sign me up (for in 650, not in 445)

It would make my day to see that polished 650nm looking up at me every time I open my laser case, sitting next to my (larger) highly polished 445 (which I actually keep wrapped in a 445nm colored anti-corrosion cloth :yh: ).

Seriously, let me know when it would make you smile to sell one of these.

Just wanted to give you all an Update:

They Are Processing the order now for the host. SO that should only take a few days and then they will be on the way to me.

I will have 1 polished one up by tonight. I have 1 more of these and it still needs 2 more steps on the wheel. That one will be eaither a 400mW 445nm or a 275mW 650/660.:)

I will not Reserve these since iam only going to do a few like this ever. So its going to be who ever gets to it first get the polished laser.

Not sure how many more i will do of the polished version. Its very hard to polish to my standards. The Host it just to small for my hands. :undecided:

Thanks For all your Patients.:gj:

Edit: Forgot the Picture:

PM Sent.

Definitely 100% in for one of the original versions, and depending on how much, for the polished version:D

Possibly two polished versions? One 445 one 650?

Edit, I think looking over the pictures, I would like a polished 445 and a regular 650.
