Well it has been done. With a LOT of work I fit a Lavadrive into the same pen Blu-ray host that I have sold a couple of. This new pen operates at the same power but is run by regular, off the shelf, 1.5v primary AAA's. Selling for $210 here, and soon to be on ebay for a considerable amount more...

Specifications:
*Blu-ray 405nm w/803-T High-power diode
*Acrylic lens, Focusable to Infinity (just remove round end cap to focus)
*Sleek closed pen style pointer
*Lavedrive powered... Runs on 2 AAA style batteries
*Running at approximately 95mA (although completely adjustable to users liking)
*Pointer is wearing a 405nm Metallic Danger Sticker w/proper specs.
