Heya.

SOLD - Pending full payment.

Laserworld Laser CS-400RGB ILDA 400 mW RGB

-- 473nm DPSS, 532nm DPSS, 650nm direct diode.

Retail price: £1,369.00 (at djkit.com). However this is not fair. Think LaserWorld themselves sold this unit for about 800-900 EUR while in production / mainline.

Official specs:

* Output power: 350mW; typical: 400mW RGB
* Lasers: TEC cooled laser diodes, >60mW 532 nm green, >40mW 473nm blue, >150mW 650nm red
* Beam properties : 3mm/1mrad (It seems like the DPSS beams are similar, but the diode one is obviously different. May be better colamination with a DPSS red?).
* Scanner system: fast galvo system for well projection quality
* Deflection angle: max. 40° optical
* Scanspeed: max. 20.000pps
* Control mode: ILDA, DMX 512, Live Play @ Music (sound controlled programmes)
* DMX 512: 12 channels
* Basic patterns: 128 (layers, tunnels, fences, animations, graphics, fonts...)
* Effects: more than 50.000 different laser effects
* Laser Safety: compliance to IEC 60825-1
* accessories: power cable, mountings, manual
* power supply: 110~240V AC
* power consumtion: 120W
* meassurements: 300 x 500 x 150 mm (L x W x H)
* weight: 7 kg

Measured specs:

Notes for the measurement; Some wind from chassi fans & TECs were notably blowing on the thermal sensor, which may result in lower readings than in a perfect still condition.

* 45mW 473nm (Has mounted IR filter!)
* 29mW 532nm (IR filter status unchecked, most likely present)
* 50mW 650nm (However, due to alignment part of the dot does not hit the scanner)

These may have adjustable POTs somewhere..? Probably do. But other than that quite well balanced, however more red is probably required!

Pictures (from my unit):

Taken directly by camera, no post-editing, or even cropping.

Reason for selling this unit & other downsides:

No fluffing, I want the potential buyer to be aware.

* Too slow scanner. I was expecting smoother graphics. Perhaps you can replace this one with a faster. It has a quite neat & organized inside.
* Unaligned beams. I have partly fixed this, but the divergence for the red is off the rest making color mixing kinda bad. :-( Probably readjustable.
* Don't own an ILDA controller. Was planning on getting one, but the scanner performance of this one put me off. Then again only tested this with built in patterns.

Other things to be aware of:
* Easy to dismount
* Has apparent smudges at especially green, probably cleanable. Could be a fingerprint somewhere? :)
* Including roof mount kit, and as many parts for mounting it as possible. Should be a simple DIY to complete if something should be missing.
* Including DMX cable & instruction booklet.

For the handy one the divergence and alignment can probably be fixed. Perhaps even the scanner replaced. Or chassis used to build yer own stuff with :)

I missed by due date to return it to the seller. So I am stuck with it.

Give me an offer if interested either here or in PM.

:bumpit: Figured around $300-ish + S&H?

Any takers? Or even someone liking the pics? ;-)

:bumpit: :anyone:

Ought to be a good price for a 45mW IR-filtered 473nm?

I like the pics :p
Decent price for the unit..
If I hadn't just bought an RGB and I didn't already have a projector I can't get rid of I'd buy it for $220 :)

I like how it has a key switch on it, tho I would probably leave it ON and loose the key :p

Might end up adding one to mine for cool factor ^^

Re: FS: RGB ILDA/DMX Laser Projector (w/ 473nm blue)

Actually the keyswitches are supposed to be a safety requirement and they shouldn't allow the key to be removed in the "on" state. Check out the US regulations on that.

Sorry there MHAKALI, but just because nobody comments doesn't mean nobody cares.
Just look at how many have viewed the thread to determine interest.
The lack of replies would seem to indicate that you did a great job of listing your unit and everyone has learned what they wanted to know from it.
No simple/redundant questions = good info available.

When somebody does contact you about it there is a good chance that it will be "Sold".

I'm not in the US :p Hardly needed for a projector locked in my basement though. Not like someone is going to wander into there accidentally and try playing with it.

That would suck if I lost the key with it in the OFF position... No more toy!

Key switches are cool though... I have one sitting in my closet just looking for a purpose... hrm...

I'm sure eventually someone will buy it...

That is a very good price, especially with a 473nm. I would post it on PhotonLexicon.com, perhaps linking to this thread so they could see your little bit of rep. I'm sure it would sell pretty fast there, since this looks to me like a good little enclosure alone. Keep us posted if it sells. I am interested, just don't have the money (like a lot of folks here I'm sure).

And replied to.

S&H delivered to 3 potential buyers. And agreed on pricing with one (whom has first dibs). If accepted it'll be sold, but as of now Pending acceptance on full package.

Additional information:

Original packaging properties:

46 x 38 x 24 cm (18.11 x 14.9 x 9.45 inches) @ 7kg.

Slim packaging

The original packaging contains lots of air. Slimming down the package can reach 40x40x17cm (if I unscrew the top mounts and put them on the sides).

This information can be used to calculate shipping costs with various couriers.

Sending address is from Sweden / Kista (Postal code 16433).

Swedish Postal service home page is Startsida - Posten.se, and you have a send guide can be found at Skickaguiden

The input you require to do is:

"Storlek (längd/bredd/höjd)" => "Size (length/width/height)"

Great I'm sure someone will have a good time with it..

Was it someone here or PL that ended up buying it?

Does it come with Sweedish meatballs?

Lets hope so!

I can try to vacpack some ;D But I think the end user will have a better deal just going to his local IKEA store...

Someone here. But had interesting parties both from PL and LPF. However shipping prices from Sweden is a bit discouraging especially to the US for most.

it cost me almost $70 to get my laser shipped from China...

Maybe if that person is lucky enough to HAVE a local Ikea... We won't have one for at least a year or two... They won't be AUTHENTIC anyway...
