hay moh, im interested in your kit, im just not sure were you get the "collimating housing" from, and do you need it? (im a noob to lasers, so i dont know much about them).

yep, you must have it, the collmating housing is what has the laser diode....
this kit basicly is a "house" and power supply for the laser.
you can get the diode already in a module at modwerx.com for $17.99, with that and the kit you'll have everything you need.

Hey Moh, I'd really like one of your kits. I was wondering what a good current setting would be for a 6x Blu-Ray diode (like the GGW). I was thinking maybe around 190mA.

yeah 180-200mA seems to be the standard for the GGW diode.
