Dang those hosts seem alot sexier than mine as I remember it....

BTW, this is a STEAL, depending on outputs and what not.. I'm assuming there the universal buck drivers like most of these are at 1.2A?

Wow these are Great lasers at an amazing price. They will definitely be gone in a flash.
Don't those "Cree" brand hosts costs more than the brandless ones most people buy as well?

David... :D I still got 5 of these direct diode CNC machined copper sinks if you want to make more when your done with these four.

They aren't even mine. They were from Pontiacg5. They are CNC machined. It's the same sinks Yobresal used in his copper builds.

You know what I've never understood about that driver?
- It's a buck driver, but it also (sort of) boosts as well. Unless I'm having a brain lapse here, I'm fairly certain you can at least get a 445 to lase with a single cell and that driver.

Anyway, back on topic - I seem to remember someone commenting that this isn't quite the driver that SL uses in their Aurora builds. Regardless, it's a decent driver for 445s, and this price is absolutely phenomenal. I'm going to suggest that it's maybe the best price I've seen on a 445 build yet. ($15 host + $5 module + $10 lens + $45 diode + $3 driver + $7 batteries + $20 heatsink + $5 for wire/solder/thermal-grease/electricity to solder with) -> You're basically at $110 in just costs.

There's some wiggle room in a few of those costs I quoted, but seriously, you're really selling these at near break-even, and a loss if you consider your time worth even $5 an hour.

Amazing deal.

I haven't tried this driver out with one cell... the input voltage on the specs sheet says 3V-18V so I assume this would be possible?

Yea I dont really prefer to make a big profit off of these builds... they're way to easy :shhh:
I just like to have the build experience!

If you had one in polished silver, I would be all over it.
I didn't notice if they were only 1 mode or 3. :undecided:
