Re: FS: LaserGlow Galileo Green Laser

This is an awesome deal for some one, it's cheaper than any Lyra 5. I would get it, but I have a G-5 (which is a lemon that is going to get replaced for a new one).

Re: FS: LaserGlow Galileo Green Laser

i have a question about the head of the barrel...Do you have any dimentions of it? such as: aperature hole, inside diameter, length of the head (will it fit an aixiz module/flexdrive?)

that kind of thing...i may want to buy this to turn into an open can or a blu-ray

The flexdrive can fit in a leadlight, I would be willing to bet this is larger in diameter than a leadlight. Aixiz are smaller than flexdrive v3 in diameter (can someone confirm?), it should fit as well.

Re: FS: LaserGlow Galileo Green Laser

laserglow emailed me and told me that the inside diameter is 11.14mm...an aixiz is 11.8-12 so i would have to drill out the inside...i was just wondering how much space i had in there to put the aixiz in with the flexdrive and a spring ect. Can anyone tell me the length of the head?

Thanks

The inside diameter of my Galileo (at the laser end) is 12.69mm's. The diameter of my Aixix is 11.8mm's. So the Aixiz slides in and out of the Galileo with no problem. You would not need to bore out anything. The length of the laser from the lip of the top cover to the end of the lasers battery spring is about 55mm's. Let me know if that helps.
