Re: FS: Kryton Groovy Green Kit! While they last..

After talking to Ken about it, I had my wife make me some of these cool Kryton Logo stickers for my barrels! (we have a little side business doing vinyl signs for vehicles, yard signs, and stuff like that)

That looks very good indeed jay. The black and silver look of those just blends together perfectly. AAAA+++++

Just my experience....Rechargable batteries will gain capacity after a few cycles. Especially NihM, Li-ion, and Li-poly. Been using them for a while in my RC airplane hobby.

Traveller, I am shipping your Kryton Groove Barrel and Kit today. (with IR filter)...
Damn, that was lickety-split like

Got it this morning, so that makes it... *thinking* six business days, door2door - not bad  :D

And talk about professional presentation - the Kryton was wrapped in padding, the extras in a ziplock bag, attached to a how-to cheat-sheet... in color

Very impressed with your presentation and very impressed with the fine machining too - kudos of course to Kenom for the Kryton, period

I'll be sure to take pics - once I've turned it into a Laser (still waiting for Susie's 150mW 532nm module, not to mention those DX batteries... :-/)

does she burn?
No, not really, but I built mine for stargazing and simply to enjoy the beam, etc.

You're much better off using a BR or Red for burning. Even a $45 DX Dilda will burn a hole through a CD case...

bottom line: the Kryton looks really awesome with a very visible green beam and the combo is about as close as you'll get to thinking you've got a "light saber" in you hands (in this price range)  ;D

Jay, are you still offering these kits for sale? I have harvested a few BR diodes and want to put them IN something now.

Thanks!
