Hello
I bought a few HeNe tubes and PSU's but i need some cash so i am selling the parts i have,
I have one Uniphase tube (i had two but one broke :( )
and a Melles griot PSU 12v input and 1.85-2.45KV output
This power supply is not meant for this tube, but it would light the tube, but it makes a funny noise....

$50+ shipping

Are you asking $50 shipped for the bundle?

I'm completely new to HeNes (not even "new to them" actually, since I don't yet have one)

So excuse the really basic question (that I think I know the answer to) - but what sort of amperage does the PSU require? Is it out of the range of being powered by 3x 4V lithium ion batteries?

You can use lithiums but that power supply is too big for that tube...

You might get away with running a resistor on the anode, there should be
at least one on there to begin with..

The proper power supply for those are tiny, maybe a 5th the size judging
by the pics.

If im not mistaken, that tube should be .5~.7mW..

I have 1 or 2 of those in a box somewhere... Cute little buggers :D
