I need to sell this laser. I went swimming with my Samsung Galaxy S4... Luckily I am upgrade elligible. It's still 200.00 to upgrade though. I don't want to do installment billing because it will end up being 550.00 over 2 years versus 200.00 at once. Or the "leasing" where you pay 18.00 per month for 2 years and then don't even get to keep it.

First 60.00 gets it (trusted members only please). Lens, Lens cover, Pouch, Diode, Driver, Host and Heatsink. Shipped.

So it turns out I don't think this Laser is a good fit for me. I had not really come here for a high powered burning laser. I am more into just the unique colors. I also happen to live 8 miles from an airport. This means that I cannot use it outdoors. I also have an 18 month old daughter, therefore I will not be using it indoors either. At this point it seems like I really just don't need to own this device.

What I would like to offer is a trade. I would like to trade for one of the Osram 30 mw 515nw Diodes http://laserpointerforums.com/f55/gb-515-nm-laser-diodes-92426.html in a module with a driver that can run it at 5mw. I'll supply my own host and battery.

TL;DR TRADE
You get this laser, module, driver, host, battery, case. (no lens)
I get 30mw Osram 515mw with Driver set for 5mw (should be ~60ma) in module with a lens (thanks)

I'm confused. If you didn't want a high power laser why did you vote in the contest? :thinking: Not intending to sound mean I'm just curious. I'm sure someone will trade with you.

I think that's what most people do. Just giving it a try, because there's nothing to lose. I would participate in a contest too even if the prize was something I wasn't going to use just for the heck of it.

This is correct. Like I said I thought about it quite a bit. It's not that I don't want it per se, just that there may be a better fit for me. It isn't that I don't like it in theory either. I was especially concerned that my offering something I got for free as a trade would not be well received. I took the time to discuss it with another member before posting as well. It isn't that I didn't want it, honestly I did, and really still do. I want to be as practical as possible though. I honestly did not realize that I was only 8 miles from the airport (as a crow flies as they say). I also did not realize how much my wife and family (my mother also) would not like the idea. I have also read several posts that have made me a bit more leary and in the area I am in the cops are not at all friendly. Overall it just isn't worth it. I also saw a wonderful question posed in another thread. What if someone else were to use a laser near me but I am accused? Just not a situation I want to be in. What led me here originally was the idea of being able to use a blue laser at work as I taught students as well as have an attachment to make it a "laser saber". (see me custom host build in sig) I wanted to have a different pointer than all the other trainers. I should have stuck to that. I hope that everyone can respect that I am trying to be responsible and do what I feel is best for me. I hope no one has any hard feelings about this and I hope I have portrayed my position as well as possible.

Yes and yes. Um you will need to send the diode, in a separate package to the host and all will be good. I've never had problems ever. Let me know the cost thanks .
