I have a collection of fiber optic lasers attached to fiber optic cords. They all run in the infrared range and were used at one point for telecommunications. I do not know much about how they work, as they were given to me a while ago to experiment with and I never got the chance to truly learn about fiber optics. Price varies on how much fiber optic "stuff" you want. I have a TON of fiber optic lasers. Not all of them are pictured, and some of the ones pictured I have duplicates of.

WARNING: These are not like the normal lasers sold on this forum. They are infrared (invisible to the naked eye) and are attached to fiber optic cables.

On another note, I also have two 250W PC power supplies that are for sale. If anyone wants them, I will sell them for $10 each plus shipping.

Would need to know the power output of the Lasers that are not
clearly shown and what is the size of jumble of yellow cables

An Idea of pricing would also help your sale..

Wavelength, Emission type, Power, driving method, stuff like that might all be helpful if you can collect any of it. Thanks

Sorry for leaving this thread hanging!
lasersbee: The yellow cables are all approximately 9ft in length. There are nine of them. I will sell all of them for $30 plus shipping. (I really do not know if this is a fair price. If anyone has any advice, please pm me. I trust the people on this forum, and am willing to negotiate on all items.)
I also have several varieties of fiber optic lasers.

1. The first variety is pictured in the 5th picture in the above post (the box with the warning labels/specs). I have 3 of these, each of which is boxed. One of these even includes a power output graph and a nm graph. according to the specs, peak output power on all 3 is 300mW pulsed. Wavelength is between 900-1700nm. The diode that includes the graphs outputs mostly around 1564nm. All these diodes are set-up with small heatsinks and are attached to a very thin diameter fiberoptic cable. I will sell each of these for $15+ shipping

2. I have another laser diode set-up that is rated at 10mW pulsed at 1300 nm. I can be pmed for a picture.

3. The third type is pictured in the 3rd picture above. I have three of these. Each comes with a small spec print-out sheet that I barely understand. One of these sheets states:
VB: 48.6 V
VR@M=2: 23.40V
R155: 0.92 A/W
I am guessing that A/W is amps a watt. All these lasers, like every other fiber optic laser I am selling, are pulsed. I will sell all three of these for $20.

4. I have one laser setup like the one in the first picture above. It appears to be two diodes that are set in a heatsink to combine beams. There is likely a combining prism inside the heatsink. The notes on the box say that it outputs at a pulsed 0.3mW. It is likely infrared. I will sell it for $15.

The seventh picture is not laser diode but a fiber optic isolator. It works to isolate 1550nm light. I will sell it for $14. The 6th picture is of more fiber optic cable, of a smaller diameter. I will sell the whole bag of cables for $20.

Once again, I really do not know much about these items. I may have priced them ridiculously cheaply or outrageously high. if someone thinks I have done either one of these things, please contact/post. I am open to changign prices. At this point I just want to get rid of these things and make a little bit of profit off of them. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I posted this thread a while back, and I am bumping it because I still have tons of fiber optic cable, diodes, etc including and exceeding the items pictured above. I have no expertise in fiber optics, so I am willing to ship some items to any high rated member on here for appraisal or examination. I got all the pieces from a friend of mine who is an optical engineer of sorts. He works for telecommunication companies and acquired the parts over the years. Thanks! Please pm or post if interested in buying, examining, etc.

Do you have any info on some of those laser diodes? The pictures above appear very tiny. I cannot read them. You'll need updated pictures and some prices up there. People tend to "move on" if there isn't even an asking price for every item.
