Hello everyone,

Been a while since I’ve been on LPF, it is nice to see it is as active as ever. Yesterday I stopped by to see what was going on and realized I have a couple laser just gathering dust. I am unable to use them mainly due to living too close to an airport and just a plain lack to of time. I think is it senseless to keep the lasers as they will do nothing but continue gathering dust.
So I am offering a good portion of the lasers I have accumulated for sale. Note all stated powers were measured about 6 months ago. The LPM has since taken a crap and I do not have anyone nearby that could meter them. Though the lasers themselves have not been used and have been in a box ever since.

WL S3 Krypton 300mW – GONE

This is the 300mW version of the Arctic Spyder III Krypton. Metered just a hair above 300mW, from memory it take the laser a bit to warm-up, but it is pretty much rock solid after. Included are the goggles, pouch thing, original battery and charger (if wanted). As a bonus I am including 2 very good SAMSUNG 18650’s.

Kryton Groove 445nm – 160$ BACK ON SALE

This Groove is from the second series of Kryton barrels, aka the original Kryton Groove series.

Some quick specs on the laser: A140 diode, Jayrobs 405-G-1 lens, Doc Lava Microboost. These are really great hosts. Set to somewhere around 700-800mw, can set to higher upon request, but I fail to see the point. Also comes with 2 SAMSUNG 18650’s or 2 Panasonic NCR 18650's 2900mAh, one of the best 18650 batteries available.

SONAR II – GONE

The Vets will remember these puppies. Back in the day, a member called Dark Horse, machined the internals, which allowed us to make DIY lasers using the SONARII hosts wicked was selling. This laser uses a 650nM 350mW open-can diode, a Microdrive and is powered of one 17670 batt., it uses a short FL for a very thin beam. Output is 350mW. I am going to miss this one. These hosts were way cool.

WL S3 Arctic – GONE

This is one of the V1? Arctics, I requested it without the button electro lock mechanism. Power is around 750mW, IIRC. Comes with the goggles from WL and 2 extra SAMSUNG 18650’s.

**********************URGENT****************************

When giving the Arctic a final check-over I remembered what I had to do when I received the laser.

The first batch of lasers, of which this was a part of were plagued by the optical assembly of the lens not being tightened correctly, causing one of the lenses inside to move around, causing erratic focus. In order to fix it the lens had to be unscrewed out of the assembly, however they were stuck in pretty good. As a result I had to cut into the internal part to get it out to fix the optical assembly itself.

The internal lens assembly looks a bit mangled as well. It is purely cosmetic and cannot be seen on the outside, but the "cut" is there. I will be updating my sale post with this info. It has absolutelly no effect on the function of the laser, but certainly must be disclosed with any potential buyer.

I apologize, it completely slipped my mind, had I not unscrewed the crown and looked, it would have gone out like this.

Opto RPL Blue-35 - Not working - GONE

This baby used to be top of the line 473nm from Jack at Opto (until the 70mw beasts hit ). It broke down a year or so ago, way out of warranty so I just took it apart to check out the optics. It has quite an interesting internal structure. The C-mount still works, though not at full capacity, with a bit of work, it could make a great burner. I am including all the optics and crystals that came with it. I could never get it to work, though I did not have much time to invest in the project, main problem was losing my 808nm glasses making any sort 473nm completely out of the question. Selling it as a host/burner, though I suppose it can still produce 473nm in the right hands. (But don’t count on it imo, these babies are a pia to align even in the lab, much less a diy environment.)

The prices are without shipping. Paypal, add fees or gift.

I am located in the EU. So this is a good chance for the EU members to buy lasers without import hassles, the shipping will be lower as well. I am however willing to ship pretty much anywhere. Excluding Nigeria, of course.

Best regards,
brtaman

It's an old wicked laser's host, back when they had more than 3 laser options. It was their blu-ray laser when those were kinda new.

I wish I could take the Arctic and Krypton off your hands. Regrettably, I paid MSRP on the Arctic a week or two ago. I could have had both the Krypton and the Arctic for that price. I'll share the thread with a few friends.

A can be seen from original post, only the Kryton Groove and the Arctic remain.

There has been an important update regarding the Arctic, anyone interested please carefully read first post.
