FS: DX.Sku46 "Pocket Pal" Build Kit

Up for grabs is a DX.Sku46 Pocket Pal build kit. It comes with everything you need to get started on building your laser!
Including the flashlight itself, the heatsink (made by jayrob), the PCB board w/ spring, the plastic reflector (to make room for the flexdrive), the o-ring that has been cut in half to make room for your flexdrive, and the thin metal washer to finalize the build. The reflector has been filed down to make room for the thin metal washer that will make negative ground. I have found that the reflector will not fit if it has not been filed down.

What version of heatsink is it? Would this also work with a rkcstr driver?

It is the DX.Sku46 heatsink. I am selling the whole kit, with the actual flashlight included.
Yes, it will work with a rckstr driver, but you will need to use 10440 batteries, and make sure your voltage isn't to high.

It has been modified to make it easiest to build a laser.
All you need to do is put the module in the heatsink, solder on the driver, solder the driver to the little board, pop it inside the flashlight head, screw it on, and you are done
You do not need to modify anything, because it has already been done for you.

Alright, I see. As I have never soldered before, I want my first laser to be as risk-free as possible. I guess I will just go with a MXDL and a Jayrob heatsink. Good luck.

You will still need to solder on an MXDL :-?
But, the hardest part is soldering wires to your diode, and if you already have a module, then it IS risk free.
Because, you only need to solder the wires the the little board and that is REALLY easy!
Even a caveman can do it!

It is easier then doing an MXDL, because sometimes the wires twist in an MXDL.

That is the second time I've read something like this recently.  There is no reason in the world for the wires in an MXDL build that uses a Jayrob heat sink to get twisted.  Are people just twisting the bell shaped part of the head on and/or off?  It is two separate parts.
