Hum, i'm not sure to understand how it work exactly to separate an incident beam into 3.
I believed that it was a polarizing beamsplitter but in fact not ;
Does anyone have a little drawing which explain how it work ?  :)

Your drawing deals with a random polorized beam entering a cube will be split 50/50 into its two polarized states P & S. You may also send in one P plane and one S plane and get out a random polarized beam (if your alignment is correct)
