For verious unfortunate reasons, I am selling my 200mw red-diode Atek laser. It was promises an output >200mw, and tests (no acctual measurements though) I am lead to believe it does. It has only been used lightly, and functions perfectly. It has a push-and-lock button on the end to power it on eitehr momentarily or constantly, and it uses 2xCR123 batteries (DO NOT USE LITHIUMS!!!) It also has a lens adjustment on the front, however I've never changed it from factory settings. (reviews of this laser are posted on both Laser Community and CPF by both yours truly and others)

I'm asking $250USD shipped. I prefer Paypal, but I will accept USPS/western union money orders (NO OTHER M.O.s). All major Creditcards accepted through PayPal. If you are concerned with this being my first (and probably only) sale on here, check my ebay ratings --- username is Klashing_star if you wish to look it up manually (I would post a link, but for soem reason it wont let me...), more buyer ratings soon, I hope, as I'm plannign to sell more stuff this week) 100% positive feedback from both buyers and sellers.

Feel free to email me with any questions. Laser ships in an anti-static bag with no batteries in a padded envalope as USPS (faster USPS shipping avalible if you wish to pay extra)

Re: FS: Atek >200mw handheld red $125

*growls and glares*

To prove I'm not a scammer trying to rip people off by charging 2x the price... I've dropped it from 250 to 125...

Taking a large loss to prove I'm not a scammer. I hope people appreciate it......

No way ! Ashton - I did not mean to imply that you were a scammer - I was only letting you know that folks here most likely would not buy it, since I already hit them all up :( I am sorry if you took it that way ! They DO retail very high, and are worth it in my opinion !

Re: FS: Atek >200mw handheld red $125

*sigh* yes and no... sorry...

I did see that as an implication I was charging too much. I did not feel that you were calling me a 'scammer' per se, I just felt that if people read that you had jsut bought them for 1/2 what I was trying to sell mine for that they'd make that assumption themselves. Not to mention "used" seems to drop prices... hell drive a car off the lot and it loses 2/3 it's value!

At the same time, I'm unloading stuff on eBay lately and being *lucky* to get 1/2 my original purchase price back, usually far less ($1200 laptop... sold for $135... though this is 6yrs later, so...) so I wasnt taking it as an attack, I didn't mean to imply I thought that that was your intention.

Tell me, though, would you buy my laser for $250 (if you were looking for one in this power/form range?) or do you honestly think that's too high a price? I'm acctually selling it for what I paid for it @ $250...

You say NOT to use Lithium batteries, I thought that is all that Laser uses, is Lithium batteries?

Yes, it does only use 2 X CR123a's....I believe he meant to not use rechargable ones !

Hey matey, if you still want to knock it out at $125, i'll take it off your hands, i missed out on senkat's group buy as wasn't sure of funds, and also away from home working for a while.

Only thing is i am based in the UK, so not sure what you would want to do about shipping :)

Cheers.

Nothing wrong with group buys, we all appreciate the fact that Senkat could get them so cheap....

lol, no, I've not gotten to do even 10% of what I wanted to, just way too expensive for my budget now. when I have enough money to waste (read: not used for something vital) I may get a diode-greenie (when they're avalible) since green is so visible, but I just cant afford it, sadly (not to mention my pulsar was stolen, and this laser uses hard-to-get (or very expensive) CR123 batteries (I'm too busy to buy them online; dont go to the PO but once a month or so now...... and in store they're $5-$10 EACH!))

Things like food and shelter are kinda more important right now... helse why I'm selling this wonderful baby...
