OK. So when I buy my 1W 473 for $215, or my 700mW 473 for $185
Who wants to LPM and spectrum test it?

I am thinking about buying one of these. I believe that the technology to build a 1W 473 inexpensively isn't there. So I think they are off on their estimate of power or of the spectrum......or of both 
My guess is that they are 445's but I'd have no way to know.
If I do get one I'll post it up in another thread.

"Ehh?" is right. Why would you need to spectrum test a DPSS laser?
And for that matter, where are you supposedly getting 1W of 473nm from?!? ZRaffel found us 80mW of 473nm for $400, and we're all feeling like that's a pretty darn good price. It's a pretty far leap to suggest that you can get 700mW for $185. I got 250mW for around $250 in a labby, but that's about the best I've seen.

I said I expect them to be mislabled....and probably even to be 445's in my last post. I was hoping that maybe they were mislabled 70mW or 100mW instead of mislabled 445's.

At best that laser will be ~500-800mW of 445nm.
For the price you're so much better off buying here on the forum though.
