Default FS: 660nm "flat" diodes from SF-BW512 sleds

I have 9 of these things laying around and have no use for them.

These are the red 660nm LOC diodes from the SF-BW512 series sleds, still in their factory heatsinks with the factory leads attached.

I'm told these come in a 3.6mm package, and are therefore somewhat difficult to mount.

I also seem to recall reading that they are dual-wavelength diodes that can emit 780nm as well as 660nm, but I could have hallucinated that part.

Make an offer.

Default Re: FS: 660nm "flat" diodes from SF-BW512 sleds

Be aware -- These "flat" diodes are exactly that. They are flat. They do not fit any of the "normal" mounts that we use. You must build (fabricate) a mount for them or have some one else do it for you.

Jayrob figured out that we can machine off the rear of an AixiZ module head and epoxy these to it, but that is the only mount that I know of.

Beyond that one, I believe you will be into custom fabrication

Peace,
dave
