You can also sell on ebay in Canadian funds, but still have to eat
the fees..
I have been losing buy selling in US$ for some time now. Used to make
a decent % on exchanges, but now a days CDN $$$ only..
Im sure you will be able to get rid of them faster if sold to the USA as
well. Though shipping may bring the price too high for some.
Expedited with tracking into most US states is an average of 18$ with
decent delivery time.. 4-7 days - time in customs..

Since its just a dozen, and I'm not really in a rush, I'm happy to just keep it canadian. Plus, I feel slightly less guilty selling them here if I'm just making them available to our tiny little market

Regarding the question about whether I would press these into modules. I'm cool with doing that for basically just the ~$4 that a module costs. However, I don't have any modules right now (though I have a bunch on their way)
I don't however want to solder leads. Modules are pretty safe/fast with a module press, but I'd prefer not to solder anything onto your diode.
So modules are A-OK for $4 if you can wait a few days, but soldering is a no-go.
I'm probably going to sell 12 of my diodes.
