EDIT:
This is what I have available now, same basic pen with a little more time put into making it look nice ;)
For more info on this specific pen, look near the bottom of the thread.

$25 + 3.5 s&h to US

Original post:
I bought a few overspec modules a week ago or so from fasttech and made this one into a nice little pen. Standard side clicky host but the pen packs a punch.

I don't have an LPM to measure the exact output, but I can safely say it is far above 50mW. (see beam comparison to my LPMed rayfoss 50mW below)

It can pop dark balloons from a few feet away, and light a match if you're patient and use a secondary lens.

I'm asking $25 +S&H (preferably USA)
let me know what you think

... and here are a bunch of pics :D
I'm just using a flip video cam with no fog or other excessive particulates in the air. My room is fairly well lit (excluding the pitch black ones where I turned off my light... Duh guys ;) )

Sorry about this one being sideways, IMG limits wouldn't let me rotate it on the form. The one on top is the pen, and the chunkier outline below is the rayfoss tested at 50mW, the beam is hardly noticable. The pen I made tends to light up the room fairly bright if the beam hits anything other than a matte black surface :)

Would have redone the last one, my cam ran of of batteries. If anyone wants another pic, or a video just let me know. The camera's batteries should be charged by the morn.

Feel free to ask me anything :)

That is a nice looking pen! I especially like the cap you have on it. Did you make that yourself? Also bump :D

Thank you, and yes I did, It's Jb weld (epoxy) and some super secret paint to make it black. Gives it a nice machined look.
I don't know the crowds opinion on epoxy though, I was just trying to keep it together and look good... which it will indefinably do at this point. (up to 600F :p)

It might be a little hard to get out if a need to work on something comes up though, however, you could push the whole mass out the front, it's only epoxied about 4mm deep. I shimmed it in there fairly well though, it was just nearly loose enough to need the JB.
It's not something I'd expect one to need to maintain though, If one thing or the other burns out it's probably salvage time.

Just asking, does this sound like a reasonable price or am I a bit off?

It sounds pretty reasonable, I am sure it will sell.

Fasttech Module: 11 USD
Host: ~15 USD
Work: Priceless lol

You should be good.

Hello Presentteck,

I am interested in your 532 green laser pen. What would shipping cost when shipped to: Santa Clara, CA 95051?

If the total cost is under $30, can you please hold this for me for 3 days? I need to save up a few more dollars and I'll get back to you by then about if I can buy it or not. :)

Thanks,
mwang

Yeah I can hold it for ya, looks like USPS shipping via flat rate box brings the grand total to about $32 (with lots of padding inside)
With a padded envelope it would cost a few bucks under $30, but could be crushed in transit. Your call.

EDIT: If anyone else decides they want one I can make another with parts on hand

They have more chickens than any one person should have for the size of there yard though, improperly contained too. Darn things eat all the flower bulbs.

Alas I am theone who has to make sure they don't get mad at me... goodthing I don't have a laser over a watt yet ;)

I also made one of these with a fastech module and it is the best green pen I have owned or seen. Whoever is getting this is getting a nice laser.

Pman. I'll send you a pm.

Edit : lol that rhymes...

Update: all spoken for (tentatively) I'll let you know if that changes.

Also: I might order some more and experiment with a different pen style host
