I'm going to go out on a limb here - but I think (hope) Ray was being sarcastic about KipKay liking his kit?

^^^ Me too- Ray is no kipkay. KK has brought a lot of new members here and his work is often a good lesson on what NOT to do. imho

Rhd, good catch on picking up on my sarcasm. That guy has been responsible for brining a lot of new members to this forum, most of which all needed to be educated on what NOT to do after coming across that guys (kk) videos.

BTW, who wants a Mini Mag kit?

How much would the heatsink be by itself. I started a mini mag build a few weeks ago but have been having trouble making a non-cyclindrical heatsink. pretty much have everything else. Shoot me a price if your willing sell just the heatsink. thanks!

^ this guy ^

employs tiny angels to seal every diode inside their own miniature antistatic blankets

EDIT: This post kinda of losses impact when banished to a new page. So, to clarify, DTR sells magic diodes.

do you know where i can get a laser diode?

DTR can set you up with a 445 diode and micro flex driver with range resistors soldered, current preset and leads soldered. All you will need is my host kit and battery charger, and a bit of solder.

Hey BMW -

DTR is a great user to purchase your diode from.
Ray J Neal is a great guy to order your host from.

You're set :)

im looking for a cheap red laser diode

To be honest - and this may not be the most popular comment to make here - but cheap red diodes are abundant on eBay, and for the most part, they're ready to go when you receive them.

So you won't need to learn how to remove them from a sled, and then from a heatsink, etc.
