Looks like a very nice laser! Good work. Should you need a middleman or/and someone to verify/test the output of your laser I would be more than happy to assist you with that. I am located in California.

Thanks for the kind words Yob! I've seen plenty of your builds and hope to achive the perfection you have

Question to anybody. Whats the average time for the arctic silver to dry. Usually takes mine 15ish minutes to get tacky enough for it to stay without having to hold it. Am I doing it right?

Shouldn't take more than about 5 minutes. Are you using equal parts of A and B?

You could try using a little more of the hardener (catalyst), which will speed it up some, but keep it at least close to equal parts.

Which are you using?

I like to use the alumina version. It is cheaper and works great. Hardens in about 5 minutes with a 50/50 mix.
Arctic Silver AATA-5G Alumina Adhesive Thermal Epoxy 5g on eBay!

Used to be able to find them for $5 but that is the best price I can see now.;)

Really DTR? I have used both and find Arctic Silver Thermal Adheasive easier. I also thought thats what most people suggest to use over the Alumina one?

I don't know if there is a difference in the curing time but the alumina has always been more than sufficient to sink drivers so why pay the extra for the silver.

Good point. I may try the Alumina next time. I've got a feeling I'm probably just not mixing it right. Its strong as hell now though! :D

Really? You feel necessary to post that in the thread I'm trying to make a sale in? I explained why, and shipped your laser to you as soon as I possibly could. Its in the mail now, and I sent you tracking info.

In my defense, I was in a pretty bad accident and was hospitalized. I am now just getting back on my feet.

In fact, dlipford370, jerked me around when purchasing this laser, pming me multiple times during the weekend and wondering why I was not replying. He payed partially to reserve the order, then asked for a refund a few days later because a "better deal" poped up. In the end he decided he would take it anyways.

He has been provided with tracking info, and still has not canceled this claim in paypal (I last checked a couple hours ago)

Sorry if I'm being unreasonable, but the guy who bought the other laser was very understanding about what happened. And to my surprise even apologized for filing a claim.

Back on topic, I am confident that anybody who buys this laser will be more then happy with it. And it will ship the next day after payment is received.

EDIT: Just checked paypal. Claim still active.
