Well, I bought a very expensive ND:YAG deck which should give me 1000mJ pulses at 25Hz. This means about 8 watts of green if I align a few crystals correctly...

This also means that I'm no longer going to need my 1.5W labby!

10000Hz. Max rated modulation speed.

Pics of the guts for everyone interested...

All and all, it's a really nice laser. This one has only a few hours' use on it and works flawlessly, so $75O/BO!

It's a 1W DHOM head. You can get them new from Mierlight on eBay for around $750 INCLUDING shipping for the TTL model. Analog is only like $800.

For a bit more than this price, you could get a 2W 532 labby from Lasever.

Or, I bought it to use in a scanner, but found a better laser to do the job and would like to give this one a new home.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people here lately?

Re: FS: 1.45W lab laser - $800

It's not considered good business to buy a laser for 800$ then attempt sell it for almost 50% more than what you paid.

Technology almost never appreciates in value, especially with lasers because of how rapidly the technology advances in this hobby.

Well I'm sorry there's no kelly blue book for lasers. For the record, I was selling it at a 10% premium. Sue me.

Mods, feel free to trash this thread; it's just a waste of megabytes now.

More like a 50% premium.

There may be no price guide to lasers, but a bit of searching would have told you these retail for about 800$ new. Even then you bought this laser for 800$, that right there should tell you what it is valued at.

Actually he can sell the Laser at any price he wants...
elsewhere... IMO

The problem seems to be when one buys (or Trades) an item
on the Forum from a Forum member and tries to profit from
a used item by selling it at a 20% inflated price back to the
Forum Community that now seems to know where the item
may have come from...:undecided:

So I made a mistake; everyone makes them. There's no need to jump on me for it, though.

Seriously guys its his laser, if he wants to sell it for more than he paid who cares? If you don't like it don't buy it. Sorry if that sounds harsh but really....... There are no rules being broken in trying to make a buck like that.
