No, those diodes are for CD burning. 780nm 100mw tops FYI. :)

I KNOW IT'S A DVD BURNER DAMNIT
THE FRICKEN RED DIODES YOU PULLED ARE FOR BURNING DVDs
THE INFRARED ONES ARE FOR BURNING CDs

jeez how hard can that be to get. there's two diodes in the thing. we all know the red ones are dvd burners. if the thing also burns cds... well duh.
