free- starter kit, all sold.

Hey guys,
I have some extra parts and 2 -501B ultra fire host Im not going to use. I have plenty others to keep my more than busy this winter. So I want to gift these to someone interested in building. Preferably a young person looking to try building but not able to afford the stuff they need. Included is a host, battery charger, 5.6mm module with hollow back, some wire, shrink tubing, contact board and GITD button. Just need to pay for shipping.
I know free stuff is tempting to jump on but please use the honor system and let this offer go to a person that can really use it. I have put together 2 identical packages so the first people that contact me get them. There are two sets available. The only requirement is that the persons must be an existing prior member to the forum.

Well, I happen to notice that these 501b kits do not have heatsinks.

Hi guys,
First time poster, long time forum stalker. How does someone sign up for the free kit thing. I have been trying to build my own for a while but have been very overwhelmed by what I would need. Currently the only laser I have is a supposed 10w laser from China.

You are the man brother thank you for helping out. I actually realized I was missing a heatsink today at work and dug around and found one I can donate but the second package could use your generous offer. Many thanks. I have updated the photo and packages to also include a battery charger.

Rich, thank you as well brother. That's incredibly generous of you. I will pm you my address in just a min but wanted to thank everyone for their support. I really think its important as a society to encourage and excite young people bout science and the satisfaction of DIY projects. I am very blessed with a decent job that pays my bills and able to buy this kind of stuff. But. I have also been very broke for many years in my young life and I know how hoard that can be and also I know how good it feels to catch a break every now and again.

I have had one member contact me so far and will be shipping his parcel out Monday. Rich, maybe you can ship the lens to him directly. If that sounds okay I will have him PM you.

As far as I can see from the photo, that would be a C6 heatsink, I don't think that fits.

Let me know if somebody picks that up, so that I can contact them. Or just point them in my direction.

Here is what I'm sending i added a pair of safety glasses to i have a few pairs so i can give these up. Laser = Glasses=Safety... PM me the address for mailing so i can get these out tomorrow..

Where are you from as that can determine if certain things can be sent to you or not.

Remember to get proper safety laser goggles for the wavelength of your laser if it is over 5mW.
Sorry but that "10W" laser is not 10 watts. It probably shows >10W or >10,000mW therefore a 515mW laser can be labeled the same.
