not 100% sure if im gona sell this or not, so just wondering what the interest would be?

aries style laser, could even be an aries by the high build quality.

very soild design and in very good condition.

key switch
shutter at the front apeture
led indicator

comes with one key, rechargable battery (no charger) and flight case.

now the power -

originally this was a 100mw green, but its currently only out putting 6mw. i dont have a battery charger so it may output more when charged but only about 10mw. i have changed the 808 and its out putting 900mw, but when placing the crystal back its only out putting 6mw so guessing the crystal have been fried.

What LD did you put into this unit? Was it a Heurr. LD? A 100mW green probably had a <500mW 808. At typical efficiency you'd see 100-120mW.

You say that it is 900mW now, did you have to drill the housing to fit a 9mm in place of a 5.6mm LD?

Also, did you break loose the crystal set and properly align, or just pop in a new LD?

Just so you know, this is a Viasho unit or a replica of one.
The Aries is a CNI design and is different in many ways, the most important being the module design.

Judging from the pics I saw in the other thread, I think this may be a Viasho clone. I don't think a "real" Viasho unit would look so messy on the inside.

A few questions-
Does this laser use a hybrid crystal or separate crystals and an output coupler?
What diode type is used?
Is there damage to the casing?
What crystals did you use in place of the stock crystals?
