A PBS cube can be used to combine 2 lasers based on polarization instead of wavelength. This means you can combine 2 lasers of the same wavelength (which you cannot do with dichros) by having one of them rotated 90 degrees. Two reds go in, one red comes out.

Suitable for red and blue laser. Tried a blue laser with 1.5 watts. I got about 3watts output power.
