I have 3 diodes in the 808nm to 1064nm range & am looking to swap them for some 445nm diodes. If interested please PM me ASAP. :thanks::wave: rob

Well, the 1064nm is gone already. The can size on the 2 I have left are 9mm across the base. One is 808nm & the other is 980nm. One has 2 pins the other has 3 pins, & both are supposed to be HI-POWER. I got them from the swap box, but I don't mess with those wavelengths. A friend of mine said he'd build me a 445nm laser PRO BONO since I don't have any cash for one. I used to have a nice 1.2Watt 445nm laser, but HAD to sell it, ya know why. So I thought I'd swap these other diodes for 445nm diodes 'cause that's all he needs to build the laser for me. I'll trade both of them fpr ONE 445nm diode. Thanks for your interest................. rob

I grabbed one of those a while back too. I was wondering about the power as well. The one I have is a 2 pin and has a number on the bottom in sharpie.

It's just a wild guess, but I assumed they came from one of the lots that RHD sold awhile back. I know he got them from one of the Heururo (no idea on the spelling) auctions.

Again this is all assumptions, but I know RHD was identifying diodes on his own numbering system. I keep meaning to PM him the information off of mine in the hopes he has any more information.

I can only confirm that they are indeed 9mm diodes.

Edit: Here is an image of the bottom of the one I grabbed out of the same bag if it helps anyone trace the source of these diodes.

No, I never sold any hurrer diodes on their own, and the swap box predates my hurrer diodes. But lots of other people had hurrer diodes, and those look just like them.

I agree that they look like heruursciences' diodes. Here is what the ones I got from him looked like...

*EDIT* Nevermind.. :undecided: I was way too slow in posting. RHD answered directly.

If they are bare 9mm diodes then I believe they have not passed through RHD's hands & would just be untested Huurersciences diodes. Ones that RHD found to be reliable where pressed into custom 9mm Aixiz clone modules, the remaining diodes he said he tossed.

Ah. Thanks guys. I don't have any 9mm modules, so I have never tried to power mine up. Not to mention, I don't have any IR suitable goggles.
