desperately need to buy dummy sim card

I got a new phone, but the provider doesn't activate the phone for a while yet. (I hate that my cellphone provider was sold to AT&T)

Needless to say, I've got 30 days to test drive this phone and since the sim card that came with this phone won't actually power it on or allow me to actually test drive it until it's activated, I desperately need to purchase a dummy sim card. One that will allow me to use most of the features of this phone without it being able to access the network.

I know from experience that we have a lot of cellphone repair techs on this forum and I'm hoping that someone on the forum will have one of these dummy sims that they can ship me RIGHT NOW! My time to test this phone is quickly running out and I have to try it out. If I don't like this phone, I can send it back and get a HTC Aria instead.

I personally think they are taking their time on purpose so I can't test this phone.

aren't there any local phoneshops? they usually have them, maybe you can borrow one and check your phone in the store?

Hahaha you gotta be kidding right? This is MONTANA! population 20,000 in the larger cities with most of them only topping out at a few thousand each.

I don't know for sure but I think that the one boosted has is just a blank unactivated sim.. we'll see.. in the meantime, I'm still looking (best to have many than none)
