****PRICE DROP.... GO TO LAST POST****

Hi everyone,
I'm selling my Nd:YAG rod along with optics meant for high power 532nm.

The rod is 1.1% doped, so it could be used CW with good cooling or pulsed. It's AR/AR 1064nm coated. I believe it's about 3mm x 55mm long. One can make some SERIOUS power with this rod. I believe the rod was meant to be pumped by four 'CCP' style diodes, two on each side.

The optics are very thick, high quality optics meant to make a lot of 532nm. The HR mirror is coated for HR 1064/532 and the OC is coated for HR1064 HT532 on one side, and AR 532nm on the other side. I'm not sure of the exact ROC on the OC mirror, but I do know they are designed for a ~25cm cavity length.

The HR mirror has a chip on the back side of it. This chip is NOT on the coated side and in no way will effect its performance.

I'll get some pictures posted very soon!!

I was intending to use this stuff for a high power green, but I really just dont have the time to give this project the attention it needs.

This setup could easily make several watts of green if built correctly!

Looking for $200 price drop, $150, open to trades :D

Here are the pics I promised!

Optics (note the small chip on the HR, again, on the uncoated side thus not effecting the functionality of the mirror):

Here's the rod. There's absolutely no burns, no marks of any kind, the rod has never been used and I do still have the original case for it, I just forgot to snap a picture of it. Roughly 3mmx55mm:

Woah, theres just something about high quality optics that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside :kewlpics:

Unfortunatley i don't have any use for these but i'm sure someone else will

Price dropped to $150

This is a killer deal... all that is needed to make a ton of green would be some strong pump diodes and a nice KTP, and a mount to cool the rod.

Come on guys, this is a GREAT deal, you can find a KTP on eBay for this, and some pump LDs big enough to get you several WATTS of green!

What LD would you use, a pretty big multimode ( 10-20W) model or something, something big to get a full 7 watts of green i would assume. if i had the funds it would be an amazing project!!!

You would use a coherent CCP diode ( Conduction cooled package ) 20-40W would be good. It would need to be side pumped, so you could use 1 or two CCP diodes.

EDIT: you can find these LDs on eBay frequently.

The rod was designed to be side-pumped by four 40W CCP diodes.

You don't need that much pump power, but I would say at least one 40W diode.
