If you are saying I am not to be trusted or something I think you need to check again.

Its been proven time and time again that paypal offers no protection when buying items like this off a forum, so whats the difference between paypal and google checkout?

And Robjdixon is right, I couldn't take paypal if I wanted, not that I want to ;)

Did I say that you were not trusted? I have no idea how you managed to pull that out of my post. I was talking about using Paypal vs google checkout to make the payment... not about you as a seller.

I was simply trying to state that you would be more likely to sell your laser if you used Paypal. I mean nobody wants to sign up for another money handling service when Paypal works perfectly fine for them. Plus I personally wouldn't trust google as far as I could throw them. Let alone give them my sensitive bank account information.

I'd sign up for Google Checkout for this laser if I had the money to spend!

you don't "trust google"...
with your "sensitive bank account info"...
but yet you "trust paypal"...

obviously you're an idiot.

Unless google owns Paypal, I don't see the logic behind your 'idiot' remark. Paypal has been around for years and years and millions of people trust their information to them. Anybody who has used eBay more than likely has a PP account. On the other side, Google is a search engine company that makes money on advertising and selling information about peoples search habits.

I can trust PP to keep my information secure and private. With google who knows what they would do with my information. Probably sell it to the highest bidder I would assume.

And PayPal doesnt have a nasty habit of limiting your account and holding all your money for 6 months or more.

I'm not going to argue this point in my sale thread. If you don't like the payment options there are lots of other sellers on here.

Hey, just trying to help. I only wanted to point out that you could increase your customer base from 5% to 95% if you went with PP. Those are some pretty significant numbers IMO.

But that is neither here nor there, since you obviously have a reason for not using PP.

google checkout was my first laser related purchase here.

paypal came later, pontiac was using paypal just a few months ago and they locked up his account on him and delayed a group buy.

He has a good reason! paypal may had even robbed him of a bit of his cash and I have heard it has happened to others!

Though I understand your feelings on *cough* Big Brother.. I mean Google. :)

I would ask for an extra $25 for two protected 18650s and a dual charger.

It might be sale pending though, I'll let you know.

They look realy nice I would take one if you can recess the switch button below the surface.
Is the diode direct press and if so is a press provided ?
Have a good day ;)

I really can't sell these as build kits right now, there were a lot of issues that showed up after I made this batch. I might sell a few more as complete builds, but this is probably the end of this host here.

I'm going to sell this laser to fund some anodizing equipment, so here she is!

Its the one on the right, it had a microboost, but I wasn't getting the power I thought I should so I switched to a flex with the pot set to 1A. However, I don't think this diode is as efficient as the others because it's not as bright as the one on the left with a boost drive set to 1A. Its still plenty strong, it burns white paper, cuts matches in half, yadda yadda yadda... Not quite 1W though, I can't really place it so I'll just call it >500mw :D

It is a solid aluminum host I custom made. There will only be about 8 of these hosts in circulation, assuming I let the other 4 or so I have here go. There is plenty of heatsink capacity, and I have ran this laser over a minute with a very slight increase in the temperature of the head.

This laser uses a standard 18650 battery, you might be able to get away with an unprotected 18650, but I trimmed the spring for a protected battery, so I suggest you use a protected battery as well.

Its fully focusable and uses a glass 445 aixiz lens.

So, price! I'm asking for $275, but I'm being hopeful. I'll be taking offers till Sunday and I'll accept the highest offer then . The first $275 takes it though!

I only take Google checkout, NO paypal.

Thanks for looking!

Hey man that's a really sweet host you made there!

For sure you can not only sell lasers, but the host itself would be a big hit for DIY as I'm sure you know...

I would want one for a personal build. Not many side button builds out there. Especially with an 18650 supply...
