i recently bought one for this set-up I must say easiest build i have ever done
This is the host that im using in my latest LG 8x @ 545mw - 546mw

I also have some in pocket mini's.
this one barely gets warm , where the pocket mini would be hotter (only because they have a smaller heatsink)
in this case the whole host is the heatsink.
i think this build will be great once i get my 12X build going!

Fantastic host, great work, I received mine today from darkarmyofone and would just like to say thanks to you as well for producing such an awesome host for my 171mW o-like module
Although I have yet to power it up as I have no Idea which way the 3.6V battery is meant to go in, and I don't want to screw the laser up.

the battery goes in negative side first. positive side is by the switch.
