I am not truly concerned with the USD valuation of bitcoin currently. Bitcoins are worth different amounts to different people (i.e. people who bought bitcoins at $0.3 versus at $600 are less attached to their USD valuation)

Why would any sane person who bought it at $0.3 value it for less than the cash value they can get for it right now?
I had some BTC, from back when they were $4 each or so. That doesn't mean I value it any less than the current market value.

I can go into a coffee shop right now and trade my bitcoin in at 1BTC = $470 CND. If someone offered me less than that for it would I take the offer just because I bought it when it was cheap? Hell no.

Probably not :p
But even if it could, I wouldn't pay $1300+ for it when the parts have been proven to be less than $30.

I should buy some parts and make some! Much cheaper too ;) :p

Sounds like dirty money and a potentially flat return. Jennifer Lopez has a great ass market though. I hear it is in a bubble right now. :)
