It needs to be mounted but it should be to hard because the hosts come apart into two pieces for easy access to the button

Ok, so what I'm asking is, do I need to mount this button an a PCB board like I did with the jayrob pen host? Or does it have everything needed to mount the button?

No only the actually button is included. You are going to need a clicky switch, and a pcb board or something similar to mount it on.

I dont have one on hand to check, but diameter wise it should fit.It might require modification length wise though.

I think it should fit, the modules fit in Jayrob's pen hosts, so he says, but you do need to shorten the end of the module.

I just took a module out of a 5mw dx pen and it fits pretty well; it might need to be shortened a little to make the switch line up with the button hole or you can move the switch.

Anyone have any o-like modules they wanna trade for a few of these? i wanna see how well they fit

No one wants to trade any diodes, drivers, host or heatsinks for these?
