Hmm... I'm not interested, but good luck. I know somebody will want one of these for a 2W 445 build, it looks like the heatsink has adequate mass.

Ya, I loved the one I built originally. It has amazing mass, I'm kind of wondering what kind of duty cycles you could run a 2W 445nm at... Hmm... time for some calculations...

If I calclulated it right, at 2watt output, about 6watts will be put out in heat to the heatsink, with 10 Oz of aluminum, it should take ~50 seconds to increase the system by 1 degree Celsius. That sounds kind of ridiculous for the amount of time it could run for. Your batteries would end up dying before it would overheat... That's assuming the driver and diode perfectly transfer heat to the heatsink though.

Hmmm, potentially interested. Is the front angled inwards, or is it flat? There are a couple photos, and it looks different in both.

The front of the heatsink is flat. In some of the pictures, I have a focus knob attached which I had built. I currently don't have any of those knobs though.

I can personally say that these heatsinks are MASSIVE. They make a 2D Maglite sink look like child's play. :D

I actually laughed in surprise when I opened the package to do the finish machine work for Mrcrouse. I believe my expression was "holy heatsinks, Batman!" :tinfoil:

There's lots of potential for heat dissipation with these, especially the finned one. It is a decent chunk of aluminum.

These are definately one-of-a-kind heatsink/host combinations. If you are looking for something unique, here it is, guys!

How much for just the second heat sink? I already have that host. Still debating if I want to use it for a phlatlight red, or laser.

Free Glass Lens to anyone who buys the Monster Kit, as well as a free 1.8A Jib driver if you buy both kits!

OOH. 1.8A jibs are rare ATM since he stopped making them.... Nice extra.

Edit: lol. I have 666 posts on the "mace of doom" thread.

Re: 2 Mace of Doom Kits available Free Glass Lens and 1.8A Jib Drive with select purc

Thanks, be a great driver for the build considering I can't imagine running it less than 1.5watts!
666 posts, spooky.
