i go and sit down with the machinists to get a new host made tomorrow.....
once i get all the kinks out and the new host ready i'm going to start building 6x lasers with them.

just a standard pen looking style for now.
hopefully it'll whip one up at the shop tomorrow and i can post some pictures

went to the shop yesterday and got this little thing machined out.......
i needs ALOT of work still.....
the body came up short just a tad as i need more room for the switch.

it's pretty ugly now.....
but i'll try adding some fins to it
along with some anodizing...it could look cool.

eventually i am going to do away with these flashlights and go with an all machined aluminum host.....
but we are still getting all the measurements right and right now it looks like a big metal dildo.....so i am gonna add some "flash" to it....some fins and other crap to try to make it look cooler....

i am also going to try anodizing......from what i read all i really need is sulfuric acid...and some dyes...i've already got a car battery charger.

i ordered some switches from best offer buy also.....50 of em. hopefully it won't take a month to get here...i paid for quicker shipping.

i also ordered 20 of a different switch incase the other one does't work out......ordered some blue green and red tailcaps to cover the buttons......can't find any black though on bestofferbuy



maybe someoneon here will sell me some ;D

yup.....might even get cheaper depending on what the host costs me.......cause right now i ma paying around $30 for the host, plus i have to buy the heatsink.......

he told me eventually we could prob get it down to $15 each to have the hosts made.....

so it will prob be around $100 still for a while....and around $150-$175 for 200mW blu-ray when i start making 6x pointers

and somewhere around $225 for matched sets of 200mw blu-ray and 250mw red
....but this is all speculation....

yeah they are assembled.
...but i would go for the $75 sale, rather than getting one off my site.......same product..just want to get rid of a few.
i just bought a charger from the same person i buy the batteries.....you can find it on ebay but it's like $18....
DX and bestofferbuy sell charger for alot cheaper though.
