I never ended up finding time to build anymore smaller lasers, so its your chance guys to get brand new unused parts at a discounted price.

Drivers have never been used, and have been kept in antu static bags.

Diodes have never been opened out of sealed anty static bag since i received them from DTR shop.

Host is supposed to be waterproof to some degree. I consider it weather proof and splash proof for sure. It will fit aixiz module with some space (play) Spring for battery is needed for the front battery connection. It needs to be figured out a bit but it is very small and will take one 16340 battery. It can be machined to fit other batteries.

Prices:

SOLD- DrLava Flex V5 drivers $25

SOLD- Mitsubishi 300mW 638 Diode $20

SOLD-12X S06J Bluray Diode $35

Waterproof host $12

Got them today, thanks! That little host fits a green 532 module, the brass ones a little larger in diameter than a 12mm AixiZ module with the driver and spring built all together. I happened to have a 50mw one lying around that dropped perfectly inside. Just add battery and it is a working handheld. Two parts, battery and all-in-one 532, and your ready to go....

I suppose those drivers weren't set to any particular current before you got them were they? If so, and you remember what, I'd like to know.

Fast and easy transaction, thanks!

glad you got them.
These V5 drivers are not set to any particular setting.
I'm glad that water proof host was any use for you. I have another one or two if anyone is interested.

best regards

whats up with Buy,sale, trade?

How long is it normal to wait after you post a new thread nowdays? 24h?

It took few days last time i did it and i thought it was not happening so i made new post and that second one showed up within 12h before the first one?

You did contact an admin first, right? they have to give you the green light to make a thread, then you make one, post it, and wait for it to be approved by said admin.

Maybe i misinterpreted it? In any case, I have always contacted an admin first. Obviously you didn't and still got approved, so I guess i have been doing it wrong lol

Also I sent you a PM.

Agree with Milos, when did this become the norm around here? For the two years I've been around I've never asked admin before I posted something in BST. In fact, when I recently returned to the forum and tried to make a WTB post I was surprised it had to be approved by moderation first. I didn't recall that ever happening before, I thought maybe it was just because I hadn't posted in a while.

I did something similar, I posted my WTB ad and never had any response. I thought maybe there wasn't any web traffic on the item I needed in the BST area so I posted a similar thread in the 405 section. Later my post was closed for reason of having a duplicate post. What I didn't realize is the reason I didn't have any traffic on the first one (which led to the second posting) was because it hadn't been approved by moderation until about the same time I posted the second. I just assumed it would have been approved by mederation within minutes to hours like some other forums I am a member of.

I will speak to the defense of the moderators though, it's a massive job on a site like this. I am a moderator on a couple of other websites/forums (not here) and it is easy to get back logged quickly. I don't know how they have responsibilities divided here but I would imagine it is similar to the sites I moderate where certain members apply to be moderators and pick an area they are interested in or an expert at, and then cover those areas. There may be only one moderator covering an entire responsibility at times because life happens, moderators come and go, etc, etc.

Again, I don't know how moderators are picked here but you might check to see if they need help if you are really interested. I personally don't have time for more moderator activity or I might consider it. It's often times the only way these awesome sites like this can stay open and remain free, they must depend on volunteers. Maybe a moderator will see this post and can comment on how one becomes a moderator and if they have any current needs for more.

My suspicion is it is a holiday season and a very busy time of year right now, and they may not have all the moderators actively moderating because they are vacationing, away seeing family, etc. So while it may be a bit of a hassle to have to wait, I don't complain because it's free and I am not volunteering myself. I suppose if I had to pay to be a member of a site like this I might feel differently.
