Default buying blueray/violet laser

Hello, i'm buying a blueray/violet laser for my girlfriend. She says she wants it as a pointer, and she wants to be able to see the beam the laser omits. She wants it to b able to go for a distance (just over 20 ft). She also does not want it to be a burning laser. If theres no way it cant be burning, i guess ill use a lense to modify it.

Im guessing a dilda is fine

Looking for best price)

Well your best bet is to either buy a DIY kit from either Jayrob, mohenburg IgorT ect. They run around 100 total to build just need some basic soldering skills and a steady hand. Or just browse the BST section and see what you can find dilda is a great laser if you want a red, May i suggest a DX 5mW true they are generally overspec and reach 15mW brighter than a blu-ray if you want brightness. Also the 30mW kaleidoscope is a very cool laser as well from budgetgadgets.

25mw of blueray you will have a very hard time with the beam, it proberly will be very dim even with smoke, I suggest if you want a beam don't go with blue-ray, greens the best for beams and bright dots.

Hope that helped.

Yeah. This section. Look around- you should find one on the first page.

Goggles will be necessary for a blu-ray laser that you can see the beam at night. It still won't be that bright. And it will burn like a beast.
