I'm buying an Aries 175mW or Nova 200mW or anything in that area for $400. I don't care if its used. I'll buy it if its not damaged and still puts out how much power you say it does.

Thanks,
Alex

hah! good luck. you are going to need a higher budget. :-/

Alex, I agree with laserhigh as I said in my e-mail.

Unfortunately we don't live in a world where you say what you want and what price you want it at. You can negotiate with sellers, but if you're just gunna put a bottom-end price and hold out for it, you may find yourself waiting a long time to ever get a taker. At the $400 price, the only way I can see you getting an offer is some laser freak who is struggling to make ends meet and needs cash fast. So its not impossible, but I'd say that situation is improbably.

IMO, if $400 is your budget, go look at what sellers offer lasers for around that price, and count on that being what you can afford. If you insist on trying to get a better deal used, you can take your chances on eBay but the selection is limited on honest portable lasers, and even then its a crap-shot as to if the laser meets spec.

Good luck, but I would either set your demands lower, or save up some more $ if you ever plan on getting a laser.

PS: Eh, I guess I can't blame you for trying though :D
