im looking for ir diodes free... i have NO money and a host, axis host, and a driver anything is ok looking to build my first laser... i have lots of experience with soldering and circuts and stuff. built a reciever in elect. last year

Begging for LDs... "fait dure"....

You can get an LD out of any CD Rom Or CD Burner (low output but useable)...:yh:

One of your buddies must have a used Cd Rom lying around...
hell I must have 20 of them in the recycle bin..

off of that subject... my buddies have absolutely NOTHING in computer parts at thier house (exept for ones brother and a couple of copleted computers) but ill try the local comp. repair shop and see if they have any broken ones

I didn't see that "record for most lasers bought in a day" Thread....

Why would you spend all that money on Lasers ... then beg for Under Powered
IR LDs out of CD Roms....

Seems like some one is trying to attract attention...

Man.... That sucks....
look around at the Computer repair/sales shops in your area...
some time they have Freebies...

BTW... I got a job on the weekends stuffing grocery bags when i was 13...
$15.00 a week with $10.00 towards my parents (rent).....
