I'd like the larger capacity Panasonic (I PM'ed u saying I wanted sanyo) but I'm unsure whether the 3.6v is an issue, as my laser calls for 3.7v. I understand these batteries charge up to 4v+, so maybe there is really no difference between the 3.6 and 3.7 with the capacity (mAh) being the important difference.

If the voltage is a non-issue, I'd prefer 2x panasonic. If it is, then I'd like 2x sanyo.

Either will work fine for most lasers. The difference between 3.6v, vs 3.7v is basically the average voltage of the cell throughout a discharge test @ 0.2C. That would mean that the Sanyo should average 3.7v @ 440mA. And the Panasonic should average 3.6v @ 470mA draw.

Both cells when fully charged are ~4.20v. I responded to your message.
