Hi everyone. I know I haven't posted in a while because I've been really busy with school and the fiancee (recently got engaged!). Anyway, I basically haven't done anything laser related in about a year, so I figure it's time for me to sell most of my equipment and things I am not using - I could use the money. Of course I'm keeping all of my lasers (including the big argon one!) and a soldering iron for fixing up things around here and there if necessary, but most of the optics, hosts, etc. I have are really unnecessary for me now. Hopefully I can unload some of this onto you guys and the equipment will find nice new homes.

Obviously I am negotiable on prices, I'd just like to get at least some of my money back on some of these items. Note that shipping isn't included on these items, but we can talk about what method of shipping you want. Bundling will also help lower the price (both on my end and on USPSs end!).

Anyway, the list!

----------------------------------------------------

Unopened LA1213-A ThorLabs lens
thorlab-LA1213-A.jpg

I initially bought this lens for the C-mount 650nm contest, but I didn't win and never ended up finishing the project anyway. Asking $15.

FandyFire V6 with Cree XM-L T6 LEDs
Fandyfire-v6.jpg

Used to use it as a torch but it just stopped working one night. Can be disassembled for host usage, but the shape of the reflector holder makes it difficult. I suggest repairs and use it as an awesome torch. Asking $20.

5x BlitzLinear Drivers, 0.1-1A
7x-B-linear.jpg

One BlitzLinear driver, each go between 0.1A and 1A. See http://laserpointerforums.com/f67/n...op-out-1a-adjustable-linear-driver-79920.html for more information. Remember that the entirety of the bottom of the driver is exposed copper, so good heatsinking! I'd like $5 for this. I can send it via typical mail, if that's desired.

Chicago Atomic Heat Gun
heat-gun.jpg

A heat gun with two settings, high and low, with high going over 700F. Not been used much, but very useful for stripping SMD boards that you don't care about the components for, and I have even used it for SMD soldering on boards that I can't toast. I'd like $15 for it.

Aluminum Foil Tape
aluminum-tape.jpg

A roll of aluminum foil tape, about 2" across (maybe 1.5"?) and I have no idea how many feet, but probably at least 45 feet (I've only used a few feet of it). Great if you want to make a TEA nitrogen laser, makes for easy capacitors. I was working on one but again, didn't have the time or spaaaaaace. I'd like $10 for it.

2x Unused Sierra Precision Optics -9 degree Wedge Prisms
wedge-prisms.jpg

As it sounds, there are two -9 degree wedge prisms from Sierra Precision Optics that I never used. I was planning on using them as corrective optics for C-mount beams, but never got around to it. They are very high quality. I would like $30 for them.

Various Projector Optics
assorted-optics.jpg

More than 20 lenses, mirrors, and dichros from projectors I have gutted in the past few years. Most of the lenses are wrapped in paper towels. Obviously, they aren't lab grade protected, but for our uses, they should be fine. A few have chips in them. I'd like $40 for the lot.

2x Projector Fans
fans.jpg

Two fans from a screen projector. Both pretty strong. I'd like $5 for them.

~5x Flyback Transformers
flybacks.jpg

A collection of flyback transformers. I know for a fact that at least three of them work last time I tested them in a flyback circuit for HV generation. Useful to make your own HeNe psu or just to have fun with. Be careful! I'd like $20 for the lot.

Mastech HY1803D PSU
mastech-psu.jpg

A Mastech PSU that we all know and love, this goes from 0-18V and 0-3A. Some of the side plastic has melted due to intense summer heat, but works fine. I'd like $50 for this please.

Analog Voltmeter
analog-meter.jpg

Exactly as it sounds. Unopened, never used. $5 please!

Bausch & Lomb Monochromator
monochromator.jpg

Fairly accurate (within around +- 2nm, can be improved with photodiode sensor which we can talk about via PM) and ranges over the entire visual spectrum. Entirely mechanical and awesome piece of technology. Read more at http://laserpointerforums.com/f70/pic-heavy-got-monochromator-85763.html. I'd like $150 for it.

There is also something else that I would like to sell, and that is the design of my BlitzBucks and BlitzLinears. If you would like to discuss this, please PM me.

With regards to shipping - I will ship any way you want, but that'll be in addition to whatever price it is we decide on for the thing you're buying. Again, I am super flexible on the prices as well, so just PM me.

Thanks for looking. Hope I can sell some of this stuff!

Wow, nice stuff. Perhaps you could slash a bit off the price in lieu of the devastating event of Black Friday? :D Man there is a lot of nice stuff.
So a silver heatsink? That's pretty cool.
So much cool stuff +lots of lasers (your avatar)+ fiancee?!

Lucky.

Can you show a picture of the Silver Fox?

Can't tell what it looks like.

Ditto, unnecessary for me to ask too, but I'd like to see it better too to know what it is, if nothing else.

Would you consider selling me only 2 blitzlinears? I will also take the blitzbucks if those are not spoken for. I will PM you.

I guess you guys are too lazy to read my post...

@Jstrawn- I asked about them, but I am not sure I would want all of them. Maybe we could split that part of the order.

I guess you are saying you bought it? :(

Sorry I didn't respond to stuff today - went to see Interstellar with the fam and then was out with the fiancee. Anyway. Glad there is interest in this stuff.

Tomorrow I'll put up a pic of that Silver Fox Lumintop. I'll try to get some nice ones, but if you search Silver Fox Lumintop that should give you a good idea of what host, anyway.

Gonna post a price for the Mastech and then go through PMs. Thanks again for the interest.

EDIT: As of now, the box o' electronics and the BlitzBucks are spoken for. I am considering just offering the BlitzLinears at $5.45 a piece via envelope mail to anywhere in the continental US for individual shipment. Would people be interested in that?

Haha i saw it, but it didn't sound definite :)

If you would be so kind to split it with me, I'd love one of the blitzbucks! :)

Three more pictures of the Lumintop Silver Fox:

Potentially the best part of this host is the tactile switch at the bottom. It's also stainless steel and it is just a nice little push feeling. No click, just a push. It's really quite amazing.

When you say the heatsink is pressfit, you mean the old (correct) definition that it's meant for direct pressing of the diode right into the heatsink, right? Nowadays, in the era where people don't actually build things, that term seems to have taken on the meaning that it's a 12mm heatsink that doesn't have a set screw but rather uses friction to keep a press-and-burn-plug-and-play module in place.

I'm assuming you'd use the term properly :) if I'm right, what diode size is it meant for?
