Update on the 473's. I ran a test on both lasers. They are outputting ~30mW as I expected. But they are extremely temperamental. Looks like they need a 20mm pc fan on the driver board to get consistent results. They seem to like being run warm and this all affect the output greatly. So for that reason I will be selling them as tested/working units. There is no guarentee on power. They usually respond well to a good clean and alignment. This will give you a much better, consistent output. There are multiple threads explaining how to do this.

Here is a LPM graph proving they are capable of ~30mW output, but to be honest it was a little bit of work to get it to that point.

I believe they are putting out ~30mW from memory. I should have mentioned that they are not re-aligned or cleaned. They were sold as not working and I did some minor fixes to them to get them up and running again.

I will post LPM graphs of them tomorrow or later on tonight.

Hey whats the shipping to Europe for a few light items; poss sled with optics and a couple of lenses? Thanks:beer:

Edit: I was thinking about the lenses you say might be G9. Are they glass or plastic and do you have any idea of focal length. I thought too the G9s only came with the 9 mm diodes from the BenQ's, but I could be wrong?

Edit2: Could you also say what diodes the 638s are?Cheers

Interested in a few bits and pieces... What are the 638nm diodes, and can you send a pic of the G9 lenses?

The 638's are a 150mW diode. Brand new, not unsoldered from a sled or other device.

Sorry about that mate...

As grainde and I have discovered, these are not the G9 lens. These lens are from the A140 projector and sit just infront of the diode array.
