I just want to make sure that I didn't get some dumb laser diode that is only outputting 1W at 1.3A. Ive seen it before
until friday i probaly gona lose,
but is for a good cause

In fact, I was surprised to see that I really couldn't visually spot the difference between 1,000 and 1,250 mW blues, nor between 60 and 120mW greens (especially when the beams were slightly different sizes)
It's an awesome tool to own! Did you go Radiant Alpha, or something else?

I hear you. I have about 3 personal 445's at the moment, all using jib77 drives and my favorite one here is noticeably lower then my other 2. Its a shame because I can't take that one apart...
I went with the new laserbee but I might also get the new radiant alpha that was just announced as a comparison.
I have an LPM coming in the mail. It should be here sometime this week. My guess is that this laser is way over 1.3W.
Also, I have 2 of these same lasers so when my lpm gets here, I will test both, and the higher one will be the one that sells in the auction.
Current bid is $110

Does this fit 22600 batteries?
The host does, but unfortunately the driver needs 6-9V input. So thats why I use 2 CR123a batteries.
