Yeah..
It is indeed a long progress in this driver, mainly because of the customs process involved :(
Now i'm currently looking for another driver (IC) to try :D

How much is the Omni buck/boost? The last driver listed. I need the boost for 120 mA to 500 mA. Also, + rep.

Hi paul, the Omni is $19.9 each.

I suggest to use PicoDrive for boost, because the current setting range at low current is better on PicoDrive.

Also it costs less, only $14.9 each

SPECS:
  • Topology: Boost (When operating, Vin must be below Vout/diode Vf)
  • Vin: 2 - 24V (tested up to 18V input)
  • Vout: 2.5 - 28V (tested up to 32V output)
  • Iout: 70 - 1500mA+ (depends on Vout)
  • Size: 12*9mm
  • Features:
    • Current regulated
    • Adjustable current
    • Soft start (internal)
    • Thermal shutdown
    • Thin PCB with lots of vias, maximizing heat transfer from top side to bottom side.
    • Component mounted and soldered using automated assembly machine, minimizing human error.
    • Continuous ground/negative
Test data: at discussion thread

Price: $14.9 per unit, quantity discount available, PM me!

I'll need some right away. I have a whole bunch of diodes headed my way, from supposedly 487nm to 495nm. Several members have asked it I could set them up for them. :thanks:

Any chance you can make that driver with pins for an external pot for analog modulation between 0-100% of the set current?

I'm not sure
The modification itself is easy, but due to the minimum cost of production and final size of the driver,
I can say that there will be no analog modulation for these driver, for now.

But i have some plan to create those type of driver you mentioned, but the size of the driver might not be compatible with portable build :D
