What color laser are you looking for?

Do you have a preference on the type of host?

I have several violet and red lasers on my desk right now.

If you can get another $50, I can get you a matched set of burners (violet and red).

Peace,

They burn. However, if you're looking for a bright "beam", you are pretty much forced into greens and blues. You can see the beams in both violet and red, but they are not "bright." They are powerful, but they are not bright. With greens and blues (blu-ray lasers are violet, NOT blue), you are going to be forced into a commercially produced laser from one of the big Chinese makers. You will also be paying much more for much less of a burner and more of a beam.

ska8r411, first of all, nice name :)

and a tip for future "want to buy" posts, don't say how much you have, that will make all the people that sell lasers offer a price right at $200, where as they might sell it for less to others who don't say how much they want to spend.

and you should look around more in this BST forum, there are tons of good lasers for much less than 200.

Host $15
Batteries $5
Misc (solder, shrink tube, electricity, etc) $2

Total $80

Any shipping costs associated with any of the above??

How many people burn their first diode?

Do they already have the tools needed ? (soldering iron, DMM, helping hands, etc.)
