Just need 17mm contact boards that I can solder driver leads to.
I don't mind stripping off parts, but I love the look of the x-blank. I'll try out fastech.

Weaker diodes don't always mean inferior, my 604nm is only about 500uW
About $125 from O-Like.
Had a deal going with Will for a cherry picked 510nm but his supplier pulled the plug on the deal since it wasn't worth it for only 5-10 diodes. So I'm stuck with the PL515 and hoping to get lucky. Fortunately, my 520nm runs a little high so hopefully this will be a nice color.
Or I might wait for a 510 to come around..who knows just yet.
I have a lineup for the MS builds, they will only be fitted with cherry picked diodes. Not some average diode. I have taste

Helps to have contacts Doesn't help when those contacts' suppliers screw everything up...
Just sent him am email saying that I am willing to pay $200 for a <510nm diode. Even more for one <508nm. Let's hope he takes the bait

I was just about to place an order for 340 boards using a design from benmwv. He has given me his blessing to sell these, and prices will be $1/ board + shipping (These boards will have gold contacts, not cheap copper.). I can do a bit cheaper for larger quantities. If you are interested, feel free to PM me letting me know the quantity you would like. My order is scheduled for June 1st, but I haven't paid yet, so I am hoping I can increase the order size if others would like to join.
